Poddar Nextgen Farms Llp is located at house number 94 in the Nanpunjan area, right on Ghas Kiman Subhash Road in Khurja. Now, Khurja is famous for its pottery, but there is a lot of farming happening on the outskirts too. That is where we come in. Even though the name says Nextgen, we are still very much a local operation. We are based in a regular house on a busy road. The atmosphere here is usually quite relaxed but busy. We might be checking on some new farming techniques or just making sure the logistics for a delivery are sorted out. It’s a family-run kind of feel. We aren't a big corporation with offices in Delhi; we are right here in Bulandshahr. We talk to the local guys who bring in their produce and we try to find the best way to handle it. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized when it's harvest time, but we always manage to get through it. We don't use much fancy talk or business jargon. We just tell it like it is. If the crop is good, we are happy. If there are problems with the water or the pests, we sit down and figure out a solution. It’s practical, everyday work. People stop by the house on Subhash Road all the time to chat or ask for advice. We just keep our doors open and try to be useful to the people around us.
