Shri Madan Restaurant

We have been running Shri Madan Restaurant here in the Mukta Prasad area of Bikaner for some time now. It’s located at 14/348, right in the heart of things where people are always moving around. Our place is pretty simple and we don’t try to make it look like those big city cafes. It is mostly just tables and chairs and the smell of cooking from the back. Usually, the morning starts with us getting the stove going and prepping whatever vegetables came in fresh. People from around the neighborhood stop by for a quick bite or to take something home for their families. We see a lot of the same faces every day, which is nice because we know how they like their food. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded during the lunch hour and things can feel a little rushed, but we do what we can to get everyone fed. Bikaner is a place that knows its food, so we just stick to the basics that everyone grew up eating. There’s no big secret to what we do here. We just show up, open the doors, and start cooking. If you are walking around Mukta Prasad, you will probably see our sign. It is a humble spot, maybe a bit noisy when the fans are on high, but it’s ours. We spend most of our lives inside these walls making sure the pots are full. That is basically the story of this place.
