Heeralal Restaurant & Kings Bar

Our place is right on Station Road, right across from the railway station in Bikaner. It’s an old part of town and it always smells like the trains and the street food outside. We are part of the Hotel Heeralal building. Since we’re right by the station, we get a lot of travelers coming in with their bags, looking for a place to sit for a while before their next train leaves. It’s a mix of people from all over. The restaurant and bar are usually humming with noise. It’s not a quiet library kind of place. We’ve got chairs that have seen better days and tables that have held a lot of meals. We don’t really bother with fancy uniforms or anything. We just wear what’s comfortable and get the orders out. Bikaner is a dusty city, and we’re constantly wiping down the counters. It’s just how it is here. Some people come in for a quick drink, others stay for a full meal. We see the same regulars who live nearby too. It’s a good spot because you never know who is going to walk through the door next. We keep things simple and don’t try to be something we’re not. It’s just a spot to eat and drink while the trains whistle in the background. Most nights we stay open until the last traveler heads off to their platform.
