Padam Mahal Restaurant

Our restaurant is located inside the Hotel Lallgarh Palace complex on Ganganagar Road in Bikaner. It’s quite a different feeling being inside the complex compared to the busy roads outside. The palace itself has so much history, and being a part of that grounds makes the work feel a bit special, even on ordinary days. We are called Padam Mahal Restaurant, and we’ve been operating here for some time now. The building has these thick walls and old-style architecture that you don’t see in newer parts of Bikaner. Most of our guests are people staying at the hotel or travelers visiting the palace, but we get locals too who want a break from the noise. The kitchen stays busy from morning till night. We don’t use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just cook the food we know how to make and serve it in a space that feels comfortable. Bikaner can get incredibly hot, so having a place like this with some shade and cool air is important. We spend a lot of time making sure the dining area is neat and that everything is ready for the next meal service. It’s a lot of routine work, like wiping down tables and checking the inventory in the pantry. We aren't trying to be a trendy spot; we just provide a place to eat in a nice setting.
