Metro Palace

We are located on Kem Road, right across from Junagarh Fort. If you are in Bikaner, you cannot really miss the fort, and we are just right there by Sardul Singh Circle. It is a great spot because there is always something happening outside the windows. We have been running Metro Palace for a while now. The building has its own character, a bit old-fashioned maybe, but we like it that way. We get a lot of tourists who are visiting the fort, but we also have locals who stop by for a bit. Bikaner is a place with a lot of history, and we feel like we are a small part of the daily life here. The rooms are basic and we try to keep things functioning as they should. Sometimes the desert sand gets everywhere no matter how much we sweep the floors, but that is just life here in Rajasthan. Our staff is mostly local guys who know the city well. We do not have a big corporate manual to follow. We just talk to people and try to help them out if they need directions or a cup of tea. It is a simple operation. We focus on the basics like clean sheets and a friendly nod when you walk in. The view of the fort at night is probably the nicest thing about this location. It is an honest place to stay while you are out exploring the city.
