Talwandi Sabo is a significant place, and our school is out on Natt Road. It’s a bit of a drive from the main center of Bhatinda, but it's where we’ve set up. The school is a senior secondary one, so it’s quite a large operation. We have students coming in from all the nearby villages. The road out front can get quite dusty, especially when the wind picks up. We have a good amount of space here, which is nice for the kids. The building is a solid, practical structure. There are no fancy decorations or anything. We mostly worry about things like the water supply and making sure the desks are in good repair. The staff room is a busy place where teachers are always grading papers or talking about the upcoming week. It’s a straightforward environment. We follow the school calendar, celebrate the local holidays, and try to keep everything on track. The weather in Bhatinda can be tough, with very hot summers and cold winters, so that dictates a lot of our daily life. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to deal with it. It’s just a normal school where people work hard and the kids learn what they need to. There is always something to fix or a meeting to have, so we stay busy from morning till late afternoon.
