Guru Nanak Public Secondry School

We are located right at the Jatto Byepass in Gonina Mandi. It’s a busy spot but we’ve made our place here for the kids. Guru Nanak Public Secondry School started because the local families needed a place nearby for their children to learn. We don't have fancy glass buildings or anything, just classrooms and teachers who show up every morning. The traffic outside can get loud sometimes, but inside the gates, it is all about the books and the playground. Bhatinda is our home and we know most of the parents by their first names. It’s just a regular school where kids run around and try to finish their homework. Some days are more chaotic than others, especially when it rains or during the festivals. We try to keep the school tidy, though there's always a bit of dust from the road. Our staff mostly lives nearby, so we walk or take a rickshaw to get here. It isn't a huge institution, just a local spot for the neighborhood children to get through their secondary years. We spend a lot of time just making sure the fans work and the benches are in good shape. There’s no big corporate board here, just us trying to keep things running. People know where we are because of the landmark on the bypass. We just do our work day by day and hope the kids learn something useful for their future lives. It is a simple life here.
