Dashmesh International School

We are situated on the road between Dabwali and Abohar, right in Ghumiara. It is a stretch of road that gets a lot of traffic, but our school is set back a bit from the noise. We serve a lot of students from the Muktsar district. The building is quite large and you cannot miss it when you are driving by the area. We have got a big playground where the kids spend their breaks. It is usually a bit dusty because of the wind out here. We do not try to look like a corporate office; we look like a normal school. There are benches, blackboards, and lots of lockers in the hallways. The main office is where we handle the admissions and the bills. It is always got people coming and going. We have a routine that we stick to every day. The buses arrive, the classes start, and we have our lunch. It is a lot of management to keep everything moving. We do not use big words to describe what we do. We just teach the kids and try to keep the place in good shape. Sometimes the paint peels and we have to fix it ourselves. We have a few trees around the property that give some shade in the hot months. Most of us live nearby, so we are part of the local scene here in Ghumiara. It is a practical place for learning. We keep things simple and focus on the work.
