Guru Teg Bhadur Public School

Laluana Road in Mansa is a busy stretch of tarmac, and Guru Teg Bhadur Public School is located right along it. We’ve been here for a good while, and the neighborhood has grown up around us. The school gate is usually the first thing people see, often with a few cycles parked nearby. Inside, the courtyard is where everything happens. We have a lot of brickwork and simple concrete floors. It’s a noisy place during the day, with teachers giving instructions and kids playing during their free time. The 151505 area can be quite dry, so we spend a lot of time watering the few plants we have near the entrance. Our office is a small room with a wooden desk and a few plastic chairs for visitors. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us, the local staff, trying to keep the schedule on track and the students learning. We spend our mornings checking the uniforms and our afternoons filling out the progress reports for the parents. Mansa is a straightforward town, and we try to run the school in the same way. There’s no point in making things more complicated than they need to be. We just open up, do the teaching, and make sure the place is clean for the next day before we lock up the gate and go home.
