Our company, Tamremalean Farmers Producer Company, is located in Temirimal. We are based at Sukrubari Deep’s place, which is in the Chhindeikela area of Bargarh. To get to us, you have to travel via Mandosil. We are a collective of farmers from this local area. We decided to come together to make the business of farming a little more manageable. It’s not an easy life, and working as a group helps us a lot. We don't have a big corporate office or any fancy equipment. We just have our land and our knowledge of the crops. Most of our meetings happen right in the village or at Sukrubari’s place. We talk about the things that matter to us, like the price of fertilizer and the timing of the rains. We don't use any of that polished marketing language. We just speak like the regular people we are. Bargarh is known for its agriculture, and we are proud to be part of that tradition. Being a farmer producer company gives us a bit more strength when we go to market. It’s all about supporting each other and making sure our families are okay. We aren't looking to become a giant company. We just want to keep farming our land and doing it our own way. It’s a simple, honest way to live and work. We just take things one day at a time. The local roads can be a bit dusty, but we don't mind much.
