Samlai Farm

Samlai Farm is located in the Bargarh district, right on the Main Road along the National Highway. Being near the highway means we see a lot of people passing through our taluka and tehsil. It is a rural setting but with the constant hum of the highway traffic in the background. We spend our days working with the land and the supplies we keep on hand. It is a very direct way of living, dealing with the seasons and the weather. When it rains, everything gets muddy and slow, and when it is dry, the dust from the highway settles on everything. We have a lot of space out here, which is a nice change from the crowded city shops. Most of our visitors are local farmers or people traveling along the National Highway who need something for their own land. We don't have a polished front office or a receptionist. Usually, you’ll just find one of us out back or near the main gate. It’s hard work and our hands are rarely clean, but that is just the nature of farm-related business in Bargarh. We have been part of this community for years and we know the soil around here pretty well. We don't make any big promises, we just offer what we have and keep the farm running as best as we can. It’s a simple, honest life out here by the road.
