Harisankar Farmer Producer Company

Harisankar Farmer Producer Company is based out of Budhibahal in Odiapali. It’s a small operation we’ve got going here. Most of us are just local farmers who have known each other for years. We aren't some big city corporation. We operate right out of the village. The days are long, especially during the planting season. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, so we rely on each other a lot. If someone's tractor breaks, someone else helps out. That’s just how it is in Odiapali. We don't have a professional writer to do this for us, so it’s just me typing this out on an old keyboard. We handle seeds, fertilizers, and whatever else the local farmers need to get by. Sometimes the office is just a room with a few chairs and a table. We don't need much more than that. We spend most of our time out in the sun anyway. The soil here is okay, but you have to work it hard to get anything to grow. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just want to make sure we can sell our crops for a decent price so we can pay our bills and feed our kids. It’s a simple life, but it’s what we know. If you come by Budhibahal, you can probably find us near the main road. We’re usually around unless we’re out in the fields working.
