We've been working the land around Sarasmal for quite some time now, and Bimal Farmers Producer Company Limited is just our way of getting organized. You can find us at Khata No. 14, Plot No. 440, right at Pitabash Behera’s place. It’s a quiet spot in the Padampur area of Bargarh district. Most of us here are busy with the daily chores of farming, checking on crops and making sure things are moving along. We started this because doing things alone was getting harder. It’s not a big fancy office or anything like that. Just a local group trying to make a living from what we grow. People in the village know us. We spend our mornings out in the fields and the afternoons dealing with the paperwork side of things, which isn't always easy but has to be done.
