Our company is Chirasabuja Producer Company Limited. We operate out of Bijepur, specifically at the home of Smt Anima Dash. It is a small operation. We do not have a storefront or a big sign out front. Most people in Bijepur just know where to find us by asking around. We are a group of farmers who realized that we could get things done better if we worked as one unit. Farming alone is a constant struggle. You have to deal with the buyers and the middlemen, and it is a lot for one person to handle. So we put this together. We spend our time checking on each other's fields and talking about the upcoming harvest. It is not very formal. We might be sitting in the yard drinking tea while we decide which market to go to next week. We do not have fancy machines to do the work, it is still mostly by hand and with old tools. We are just trying to get by and maybe save a little for the lean months when nothing is growing. It is an honest way to live. We do not promise anything big to anyone. We just do the work.
