SHARMA RESTUARANT & SHARMA SWEETS

We have SHARMA RESTUARANT & SHARMA SWEETS over at CA-5, Ambedkar Sarani in the City Centre area of Durgapur. It's quite close to the Akash Institute. We do both meals and a variety of sweets. The sweet counter is usually busy in the mornings and evenings when people are heading home. In the middle of the day, the restaurant side gets a lot of students and office workers from around City Centre. We’ve been in Durgapur for a good bit of time. The shop isn't super modern, but it’s clean and we try to keep the food fresh. Making sweets is a bit of an art, and my brothers and I have been doing it since we were young. We don’t spend money on big ads or billboards. People just know where Ambedkar Sarani is and stop by. Sometimes we run out of the popular sweets by late afternoon, so we have to tell people to come back the next day. It can get pretty loud and chaotic when it's festival season. We do our best to serve everyone without too much delay. It’s a family business, and we all pitch in where we can, whether it's at the counter or in the kitchen. We are just local people running a local shop for our neighbors and that's how it has always been.
