Bonolata Restaurant

Down here on Abanidra Bithi Road, we’ve been running Bonolata Restaurant for a while now. Being in the City Centre area of Durgapur means there’s always something going on around us. We are tucked away near the Big Bazar, which helps people find us when they are out doing their shopping. It’s a straightforward kind of place, really. We don’t use those big glossy menus you see in the malls; we just have what we have for the day. Durgapur is a town that works hard, and we see that in the people who come in for their meals after a long shift. Sometimes the AC acts up when it’s too hot outside, but we get it fixed as soon as we can. The staff here are mostly local guys who live just a few streets away. We keep the tables wiped down and the water pitchers full. It’s not about being the most famous spot in the city. We just want to be the place where you can actually sit down and eat without a lot of noise. The road outside can get a bit loud with the traffic heading towards the Big Bazar, but inside it’s usually okay. We’ve had some people coming here since they were kids, and now they bring their own families. That’s just how it goes when you stay in one spot for long enough. We open early to get the kitchen ready and stay until the last person leaves.
