Garden Family Restaurant

If you head over to Bidhannahar in Durgapur, you’ll find us at Mangalik apartment. We are known locally as Garden Family Restaurant. Our spot is pretty close to Hudko More, which is a landmark most people in the neighborhood use when giving directions. Durgapur is a place with a lot of families, and being in an apartment building like Mangalik means we see our neighbors every day. We aren't trying to be a five-star corporate entity. We are just a local restaurant where people from around 713212 come to eat. The routine is the same every day. We get the kitchen fired up, check the fresh produce, and wait for the lunch rush. It gets pretty lively when the kids are out of school or when the offices nearby let out. We keep things plain and simple. No vision statements or anything like that hanging on the walls. We just want the tables to be clean and the food to be hot. Living and working near Hudko More means you see a lot of the same faces, which is nice. It makes the work feel a bit more personal. We handle everything ourselves, from the cleaning to the cooking. It’s a small operation, but it keeps us on our toes. Bidhannahar has a nice community feel, and we’re just glad to be a part of the daily life here at Mangalik apartment.
