New Jhumur Resturant

Our place is in the D.C Hall building right in the middle of City Center here in Durgapur. It's a central spot so we get all kinds of people coming in. Some are just shopping nearby and others work in the offices around the square. The restaurant has been here for a good bit now. It’s not a very big space, but we’ve arranged the tables to fit as many people as we can comfortably. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't found the time to close down for it yet. We're mostly busy during the afternoon when everyone takes their break. The kitchen gets quite loud with the clattering of plates and the chefs talking over the stove. We try to keep things simple with the food we offer. Nothing too complicated, just stuff people like to eat every day. My nephew helps me out with the orders and the billing. It gets a bit hectic when several groups walk in at once. We don't have a fancy website or anything, we just rely on people seeing us when they walk past the building. Sometimes we run out of certain items if the market didn't have what we needed that morning. That’s just part of running a local kitchen. We just keep going, serving one person at a time until we close up for the night.
