Panchphoron Restaurant

Panchphoron is located in the Parboni building on S S B Sarani in Bidhannagar, Durgapur. We are situated near the Bidhannagar Petrol Pump, which is a good landmark for people driving through. Our restaurant is a small, local establishment. We don't have a big corporate office or a team of managers. It’s just us working in the kitchen and at the front. The space is simple and we try to keep it as tidy as possible. We spend a lot of time every morning grinding spices and chopping vegetables for the day's meals. Bidhannagar is a nice enough area, and we get a lot of regulars who live in the houses nearby. The street outside can get a bit busy during the evening hours, but it’s mostly manageable. We don’t use any fancy advertising to get people in. Most folks just stop by because they saw our sign or were getting petrol nearby. Sometimes the kitchen gets a bit overwhelmed if too many people arrive at once, but we just do our best to get the food out. We’ve been here for some time now and have settled into a regular daily routine. We don't have a massive menu, just the dishes we’ve been making for years. It’s a lot of work and we are usually tired by the end of the day. We close up and head home once the dinner rush is over. It takes a while to get everything cleaned up for tomorrow, but that is just how we do it.
