Lemongrass Restaurant

You can find us on the 3rd floor of the City Center mall in Durgapur. We are in stores 302 and 303. Being in the mall means there’s always people walking past. 713216 is a busy area, especially on the weekends when everyone comes out to shop. We’ve been here in City Centre for a bit. The restaurant is a decent size, but it can feel small when it's full. We have a lot of windows looking out, which is nice. Running a restaurant in a mall has its own set of rules. We have to follow the mall hours and deal with the common area maintenance. Our kitchen is where all the action is. We spend hours every morning prepping the ingredients. Durgapur can be quite humid, but the mall air conditioning helps out a lot. We aren't a big chain or anything, just a local spot that people like to visit. The staff is mostly people from around here. We just try to get the orders out right and keep the tables clear. It’s a lot of walking back and forth all day. Sometimes the lift to the 3rd floor is slow, but people eventually find their way to us. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just cook and serve. Every evening we clean the kitchen from top to bottom before heading home. It's a steady job and we like being in the center of town.
