Ahar Restaurants

Our restaurant is actually inside Hotel Steel Regency. We are located in Swapan Hotel Lane in the Benachity area of Durgapur. If you are looking for us, we are tucked behind Hotel Reliance. It’s a bit of a maze back here in the lanes. The area is always full of people shopping and moving goods around. Benachity is a busy market place, so there is never a dull moment. Being part of the hotel means we see a lot of people who are traveling for work or visiting family. They come in tired from their journeys and just want a seat. The lane outside is narrow, so parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We just have a simple dining room with standard furniture. It isn’t the kind of place where you find fancy tablecloths. We keep things functional. The kitchen is usually humming with noise throughout the day. We have been here in this lane for quite some time. The walls have a few scuffs, and the floor is well-trodden, but it’s clean enough. We don’t really do any big promotions. Most people find us because they are staying at the hotel or they heard about us from someone else in the market. It’s a local spot through and through. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure there is enough food for everyone who walks in. The building is older, but it serves its purpose for the neighborhood.
