Tanda Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited

My name is one of the many here in Akbarpur working with Tanda Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited. We set this up at Vijay Bahadur’s place in Kaseruwa. It’s mostly just us locals trying to figure out how to get our crops to the market without losing too much money. Farming around Ambedkar Nagar is a lot of work and the weather never stays the same for long. One day it’s dry and the next the fields are soaked. We spend a lot of time talking about seeds and what to plant next. It isn't a big fancy office or anything like that. Just some chairs and a table where we keep the papers. Most of us have been doing this since we were kids, learning from our fathers. We help each other out with tools when someone’s tractor breaks down. Sometimes the prices in the market are good and sometimes they are really bad, so we try to stick together to handle that. It's just normal life for us here in the village. We wake up early, go to the fields, and then meet up later to see what needs doing for the company. We don't have a big team, just a few people who know the land. It’s hard work, but it's what we know. We are just trying to keep things moving forward for our families in Kaseruwa.
