We are located in Village Kondra, which is in the Katehari area of Akbarpur. Ram Bahal Verma is the one who helps manage the space here. We are a group of farmers who decided to get organized under one name. It makes it easier when we have to deal with the bigger markets or when we need to buy supplies in bulk. It’s not a fancy setup at all. We just use a small building in the village to keep our records and hold our meetings. There’s usually a lot of noise during the meetings because everyone has something to say about the crops or the prices. We don't have a polished way of speaking. We just talk about the things that matter to us, like the rain and the soil. It’s a lot of work to keep a company running while also tending to our own fields, but it’s worth it. We don't do any big promotions or anything. We just focus on the daily tasks. If a neighbor needs help with their produce, they know they can come to us. We’ve all lived in Kondra for a long time, so there’s a lot of trust. It’s just about getting through the season and making sure everyone gets a fair deal for what they grow. Sometimes we just sit outside and talk about the old days while we finish up.
