The Shivapar Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Jag Narauyn’s place here in Shivapar. If you know the Sant Kabir Nagar area, you probably know where Chandhar is. We are right in the middle of it. We are just a bunch of farmers who decided to pool our resources. It’s better than trying to fight the market by yourself. We don't have a big fancy office with air conditioning. It’s mostly just a place where we keep our tools and our records and meet up to talk shop. The work is mostly about the crops and making sure we get the right fertilizers and seeds. Some of us have been farming this land for decades, and others are a bit younger. We don’t always agree on everything, but we all want the same thing, which is to keep our farms going. The address is 01 Jag Narauyn, and it’s a pretty easy spot to find if you are around Shivapar. We don’t do much advertising because most people know who we are already. We just do the daily work, watch the weather, and try to make sure everyone in our group is doing okay. It’s a practical way to live. We’re not trying to be the biggest company out there, just the one that works for the people right here in our village. We value the connection we have with the land and each other.
