Sondhi Krishak Sabzi Producer Company Limited is located at House No. 21. We are in the village and post of Sindhaiaanshik. It’s right near the railway crossing in Shahganj, so you can hear the trains going by pretty often. We mainly focus on sabzi, which is just the local word for vegetables. Our group is made up of farmers who grow all kinds of greens and other produce. Being so close to the railway crossing is actually quite handy for us. It’s a landmark everyone knows. The house is where we keep our stuff and meet to talk about the prices. We don't have a big fancy sign, but people know where to find us. Shahganj is a busy enough place, and we try to keep up with everything. Some days we are sorting through crates of tomatoes or potatoes, and other days we are just sitting and waiting for the rain. It’s a typical farmer's life, I suppose. We started this company to help each other out. Dealing with middle-men was always a headache, so we do it ourselves now. It's not perfect, and we make mistakes sometimes with the paperwork or the timing, but we’re learning. House Number 21 is always open if one of the members needs to talk. We just want to keep growing our vegetables and making sure the village of Sindhaiaanshik stays on the map for good produce.
