Shrideep Bamboo Krish-E Fed Farmers Producer Company Limited is a bit of a long name for what we are. We are just a group of people in Mohanna working with bamboo and other crops. Our main point of contact is Ayodhya Prasad Mallah. You can find us at his place in the village. Bamboo is a big part of what we do here and it grows well in our soil if you know how to look after it. We decided to form this producer company to make it easier for all of us to get our products to the people who need them. It’s hard to do that when you’re just one person with a small harvest. Ayodhya Prasad is a practical man and he keeps the records straight for us. The office is just a part of his house where we store some things and meet to talk. It’s not fancy at all. We spend a lot of time out where the plants are. It’s a lot of manual labor, cutting and carrying, but it’s the life we have. We aren't looking to become some giant corporation; we just want to make sure the farmers here in Mohanna can make a decent living. It’s a quiet place and we like to keep our business simple and honest. If you come by, you’ll likely find us working.
