Over in Hapur, near the 13 Biswa area, we have our group called Kasim Abid Ali Farmer Producer Company Limited. Haroon Todi is the main person who helps us manage things from Panchsheel Nagar. We are a group of farmers from around the Ghaziabad region. Most of us have been farming for many years and we’ve seen how hard it is to get ahead on your own. We formed this company to give the local growers a better way to handle their business. We don't have any expensive advertisements or a big staff. It is just us farmers working together. The days are long and the work is very physical. We deal with all the usual farming stuff like irrigation, pests, and trying to find a buyer who will pay a fair price. We aren't business experts, we are just people who know how to grow things. We started this because we felt that farmers were often forgotten in the big markets. By sticking together, we can help each other with supplies and selling. It’s not a fancy operation and we don't have a lot of rules. We just try to be honest and help our members as much as we can. We are just local people who live and work in Hapur. We take pride in our work even though it’s tough, and we’re just trying to make the farming life a little bit better for everyone involved.
