Asafpur Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our setup is over in Nagarbisauli, specifically at Gaurav Singh Mannu’s place. We are known as the Asafpur Agro group because that’s where most of our fields are. It’s a rural life here, and most of us don’t know anything other than farming. We started this company because we wanted to have a bit more control over how our crops are sold. It’s just a small group of local farmers. We don’t have a fancy building or a lot of staff. Most of the time, we are out working, and we only meet up at Gaurav’s house when there is something important to discuss. We deal with all sorts of agro products, from seeds to the actual grain. It’s tough work, and the sun can be brutal in the summer. We don’t use any marketing tricks or big words to describe what we do. We just grow stuff and try to sell it for a price that lets us keep going. Sometimes the crop fails because of the pests or the lack of rain, and those are hard times for everyone. We help each other out when we can. We’ve lived in Nagarbisauli our whole lives, so we know who to trust. It’s a practical way of living. We just want to make sure the farming community here stays strong and that our families can have a future on the land by working together as producers.
