Arshamrit Devideen Farmers Producercompany Limited is located in Faizabad, now often called Ayodhya. We are based out of Kondra, and Brijesh Kumar, the son of Lallu, is the one who manages the day-to-day things. Our group is made up of farmers from the local area who wanted to join forces. Doing everything by yourself as a farmer is getting harder every year, so we figured a producer company was the way to go. We handle local crops and try to find the best way to get them to the market. Our office in Kondra is a simple place where we meet and keep our files. It’s not fancy at all. Usually, there’s a lot of talk about the rain or the price of diesel. We don't have any professional marketing people. We just use what we know from living here all our lives. Everyone in the group is a neighbor, so we trust each other to do the right thing. We focus on the practical side of farming—seeds, water, and harvesting. Sometimes things go well, and sometimes we have a bad season, but we stick together. It is a real local business run by people who actually work the land. We just want to make a decent living and keep the farming tradition in Faizabad alive for the next generation.
