Yasoda Concept School

You can find us on Puttaparthy Road in Dharmavaram. This part of the town gets a lot of sun, and the road stays pretty dusty most of the year. Our school sits right there where all the action is. It's not a huge campus, but we make use of every bit of space we have for the students. Every morning starts with the sound of the yellow buses pulling in. The drivers are usually the first ones here, checking their tires and waiting for the kids to arrive. The building is a bit older, so the paint might be fading here and there, but it serves us well. Inside, the classrooms are filled with wooden desks that have seen a lot of use over the seasons. We don’t have much in the way of fancy decorations on the walls. There are just basic charts and some cupboards for the books and supplies. The staff room is where we sit and have our tea during the short breaks when we can get them. Dharmavaram is known for its dry heat, so we keep the windows open to catch whatever breeze comes off the road. You can hear the occasional tractor passing by outside. It’s a very local feel here. We don't try to be something we aren't. We just show up, teach the classes, and watch the kids grow up. When the final bell rings at the end of the day, everyone is usually pretty tired but ready to go home.
