Gautam School

Gautam School is located at 3/319, Sai Kuteer Road. We are in the Ymr Colony part of Proddatur. It’s a residential area, so it’s relatively quiet compared to the main market. Our school is a modest building that fits right in with the houses around it. We’ve been here for a while now. The families in Ymr Colony know us well. We have kids coming in every morning, mostly walking from nearby. The classrooms are basic but they do the job. We have enough space for the kids to sit and learn. We don't have a lot of high-tech gadgets. We think books and good teachers are more important anyway. The teachers here are just regular people from the town. They know the kids and their parents. It makes things easier. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just us running the place day to day. We deal with the usual stuff like making schedules and fixing things when they break. Proddatur can get quite hot, so we make sure the rooms stay as cool as possible. We don't make big claims about being the best. We just do our work and try to help the kids learn their subjects. It’s a practical, local school for the community. If you’re in the colony, you’ve probably seen the kids heading home in the afternoon. We just try to provide a decent place for them to get through their school years.
