About Montessori E.M Schools – Education in Anantapur
Living and working in Sangamesh Nagar is generally pretty quiet, except for when the school day starts here at Montessori E.M Schools. We’ve got kids running around the halls from early morning until the final bell. Anantapur gets really dry and dusty, so there’s always someone sweeping the front steps to keep the place looking halfway decent. We focus on the English medium side of things because that’s what parents around here are looking for these days. The classrooms are basic, with wooden desks that have seen better days, but they do the job. We have a small staff of teachers who live nearby. Sometimes we sit in the staff room during the break just trying to catch a breeze. It’s a lot of work managing so many different age groups under one roof, but we’ve found a rhythm over the years. We don’t do a lot of fancy events or anything like that. Mostly, it’s just daily lessons, correcting notebooks, and making sure the kids don’t get too wild during lunch. If you walk by in the afternoon, you’ll see the yellow buses lined up and parents waiting by the gate. It’s a familiar sight in this part of town. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a while, and most people know us by name. It’s a simple operation, run by people who actually live here.
