Delhi Public School - Dps

This branch of Delhi Public School, or Dps as everyone calls it, is located in Pamurai Village. We are in the Somaladoddi area of Anantapur, 515004. Being in a village setting, it’s a bit different from the city schools. It is much more open here. The air is a bit clearer, though it gets very dusty when the wind picks up across the fields. We have the school buildings set up to accommodate the kids from the local area. It’s a simple setup, despite the well-known name. We don't have a lot of the high-tech stuff you see in big cities. We just have teachers, desks, and students. The morning bus brings in children from different parts of Somaladoddi. We spend our days following the schedule. There is a lot of playing in the dirt during break times. We try to keep things organized, but with so many kids in a village environment, it’s always a bit of a mess. That’s just part of it. We don't pretend to be anything we aren't. We are a school in Anantapur providing a place for children to learn their lessons. It’s quiet in the evenings once everyone goes home to the village. We’ve been here for a while and the community knows us. The building is solid and the playground is where the most noise happens. It is just a basic school life for us here in Pamurai.
