You can find us at Zphs Thimmampalli, which is out in a quieter part of the Anantapur district. The address is a bit of a mouthful, but locals know where the school is. This is a bit of a different setup compared to your average school because of the non-attending side of things. We deal with a lot of students who for one reason or another can’t be in a classroom from morning till evening every single day. Maybe they have work at home or other things going on. It’s a plain building, nothing special to look at, surrounded by some open space and trees. On the days when people do show up for exams or to hand in work, it gets a bit lively, but otherwise, it’s a pretty calm environment. We don’t have a lot of fancy technology or air-conditioned rooms. It’s just basic desks and some shelves full of old files and textbooks. We spend a lot of time answering questions over the phone or helping people figure out their registration paperwork. It can be a bit confusing with all the CBSE rules, so we just try to explain things in plain English to the parents and students. We’ve been here in Thimmampalli for a while now and we know the pace of life here is slower. We like it that way. It’s about getting the job done without making a big fuss about it.
