Ssyvn School

If you are heading down Lepakshi Road in Anantapur, you will eventually find Ssyvn School near the Chinnam Palli Circle. It is located right there where the main roads meet. We have a decent sized building that has served the local community for quite a few years now. The paint might be fading a bit in some of the corners, but the rooms are kept clean enough for the children. We have students coming from various backgrounds. Most of them either walk or take a cycle to get here in the morning. The morning assembly is usually a bit loud with all the kids gathered together. We try to keep things disciplined, but it’s a school after all. Kids will be kids, and they like to talk. Our teachers have been with us for a long time. They know most of the families around this area quite well. It’s a real small-town vibe here. We handle all the basic subjects and follow the usual state curriculum. Nothing fancy or extra. The playground is mostly made of dirt and some patches of grass. During the rainy season, it gets a bit muddy near the main gate. We often have to put down some flat stones so people don't slip. It’s just a normal part of running a school in this part of Anantapur. We stay busy with the day-to-day work of making sure everyone is in class and that the teachers are getting through the syllabus.
