Santhinikethan E.M.High School

Santhinikethan E.M.High School is located at D.No 2/333 on 4th Road in Anantapur. The address is pretty easy for most people in town to find. It is a high school, so the kids are a bit older and the building feels a bit more serious. We have several classrooms spread out over the floors. The windows look out onto the street. You can see the traffic passing by while the lessons are going on. We have been here for some time now. The building has that lived-in feel. The stairs are worn down a bit from all the feet walking up and down every day. We have a small office near the entrance where parents come to pay fees or talk about their children. It’s usually busy in there. The teachers have their own corner to sit in during their free periods. It’s a lot of work keeping everything organized. Anantapur is a dry place, so it gets dusty. We have to sweep the floors a lot. The students wear their uniforms and carry heavy bags. It is a familiar sight on 4th Road. We don’t make a big show of things. We just provide the space and the time for the classes to happen. It is an honest day’s work for everyone here. By the time evening rolls around, the building is empty and quiet again.
