Saint Mouny English School

It's been quite a while since we first opened the doors of Saint Mouny English School here on Anand Lambhel Road. We've seen a lot of changes in Anand over the years, but our little spot stays mostly the same. Every morning, the kids start showing up, some a bit more awake than others, and the day just goes from there. We aren't doing anything fancy or trying to be the biggest place around. It’s really just about making sure the students have a place where they can sit down, open a book, and get through their lessons without too much fuss. Most of us who work here have lived in this area for a long time, so we know the families and the neighbors pretty well. You'll usually find someone at the gate in the morning or walking around the halls making sure things are in order. The building is solid, and we try to keep the classrooms tidy, though with children running around, that's always a work in progress. We handle the daily stuff—teaching English, doing math, and getting through the syllabus. It's a lot of routine, but that's how things get done. If you're driving down the road toward Lambhel, you've probably seen our sign. We're just a local school doing what we've always done. It’s hard work sometimes, but seeing the kids grow up and move on makes the long days feel worth it. We just keep at it, day after day.
