Shri Saraswati Vidya Mandir

Shri Saraswati Vidya Mandir is based in Umreth, in the Anand district. It’s one of those schools that has been around for as long as anyone can remember. The building is old but it holds up well. We have a lot of students coming in from all parts of Umreth and some of the smaller places nearby. The classrooms are filled with the sound of kids reciting their lessons. We don’t have air conditioning or anything like that; we just open the windows and let the breeze in. The teachers here have a lot of experience and they just want to see the kids do okay in their studies. We have a small playground area, though it’s mostly just dirt. It’s a very straightforward place to work and to learn. We follow the usual school calendar with all the local holidays. There isn't any fancy branding here. We just have the name on the front and the doors are open to those who want to study. We spend our days managing the classes and making sure the registers are updated. It’s a lot of routine, but that’s how a school runs. People know us as a dependable place in town. We aren't making any big claims, just doing the daily work of running a school in a busy place like Umreth. Every day has its own small problems, like a broken chair or a missing chalk box, but we handle it.
