S U Patel Ranoliwala High School

Borsad is a busy town in the Anand district, and our school sits right where all the action is. The S U Patel Ranoliwala High School has been a fixture here for many years. We have a good-sized campus, though it’s mostly just functional space for the students to move around. The building is made of solid concrete and brick, and it stays pretty warm during the middle of the day. We have many rows of classrooms, each filled with the sounds of teachers talking and students shuffling their papers. It’s not a fancy place by any means. We have old fans that click as they turn and desks that have been repaired more than once. The people who work here are local folks who care about the town and the families who live in it. We spend our days making sure the kids understand their math and science, and that they behave themselves in the corridors. There’s a lot of chatter during the lunch break when everyone opens their tiffin boxes. You can smell the different foods from all over the building. We don't have any big missions or fancy slogans. We just get up, come to school, and do the job of teaching. It’s a practical, everyday kind of place where the goal is just to help the kids get through their high school years. Sometimes things are a bit chaotic, but we always manage to get everything done.
