You can find us on Hospital Road in Chikhodra, which is a busy little area in Anand. The school has been part of this street for a long time, and everyone around here knows the name. It’s a solid building, nothing too modern, but it stays cool enough in the summer. We are right near the hospital, so there’s always a bit of traffic and noise from the street, but once you’re inside the gates, it settles down a lot. The rooms are filled with old wooden furniture and the smell of chalk. We don't have a lot of high-tech gadgets in the classes; we just use the books and the boards like we always have. The staff is a mix of people who have been here for decades and a few newer faces. We spend most of our time just managing the daily flow of students and making sure the exams are graded on time. Chikhodra is a tight-knit place, and we see the same families coming through our doors generation after generation. It’s not a corporate operation at all. We handle our own maintenance and keep things running as best as we can. Sometimes the plumbing gives us trouble or a window gets stuck, but we just fix it and move on. It’s a practical, everyday kind of school where we just do our jobs and try to help the kids learn something useful. We aren't looking to be the biggest or the newest, we just want to keep the place going for the community and handle the work.
