Swami Vivekanand Kanya Vidyalay is down in Limkheda, over in the Dahod district. It’s a school for girls, and it has a very steady presence in this community. The pincode is 389140. Limkheda is a small place, so the school is one of the main things you’ll notice when you’re coming through. It’s named after Swami Vivekanand, which is a name a lot of people respect, but we don’t let that name make us feel too important. The school itself is quite modest. It’s a series of rooms with basic furniture and some open space for the girls to gather in the mornings. During the monsoon, the ground gets a bit muddy, and in the summer, it’s quite dry and dusty.
