Down in Borsad, you’ll find A P Vidhyalaya. We’ve been part of this town in Anand for a long time. The street outside gets pretty busy with traffic and people going to market, but once you step inside our gates, it’s a bit different. We have a few floors and plenty of stairs for the kids to run up and down. It gets loud during the breaks, which I guess is the same for any school. The desks are the old wooden kind, some have names scratched into them from years ago. We don’t mind too much as long as the kids are sitting in them and listening. Anand is a good place to be, and Borsad has its own rhythm. We fit right into that. Our teachers are often seen at the local tea stalls before work starts. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. If a parent wants to talk, they just walk into the office and wait for a bit. It’s informal. We have a playground that’s mostly dirt, but the kids don't care, they play cricket there every chance they get. Sometimes we have to chase them back into class when the bell rings. It’s a simple life here. We make sure the water coolers are full and the lights work. That’s the main thing. Just a regular school doing what we can for the kids in Borsad. We aren't trying to change the world, just teach.
