Shri B N Patel High School

Down in Navli, things move a bit slower than they do in Anand city. Shri B N Patel High School is right in the middle of it. If you walk past the main road, you will see our gate. A lot of the kids who come here belong to families who have been farming in this area for generations. You can see the fields not too far from the school grounds. We have a playground that gets quite dusty when the wind picks up, but the boys don't seem to mind when they are playing cricket. The teachers usually arrive on their scooters around eight in the morning. We spend a lot of time talking to parents about how their kids are doing, usually just standing out by the main entrance. The school building has been painted a few different colors over the years. Right now, it looks okay, though some corners could use a bit of a touch-up. Inside, the hallways are usually full of the sound of someone reciting their lessons. It is a loud place during recess and very quiet once the bells ring. We don't use much technology; it is mostly just paper, pens, and talking. People in Navli know they can find us here if they need anything related to their child's schooling. It is just a local school doing what it needs to do every day to keep things moving forward.
