Sainik School

Our school is out on Lambhvel Road, specifically at Survey No 510/4 in the Lambhvel area of Anand. It’s a bit away from the main town, so we have some space around us. We follow a pretty disciplined routine here, which is just part of the way things are done in a school like this. The morning starts early with drills and exercise before the actual classes begin. The grounds are large, and we spend a lot of time outside. It’s a practical place, not somewhere you’ll find a lot of luxury or unnecessary things. The buildings are plain and functional. We have a lot of students who stay here, so it feels more like a small village than just a school. The staff lives on or near the site too. We focus on physical fitness as much as we do on the books. It’s a lot of hard work for everyone involved. Sometimes the weather makes it tough to be outside, but we manage. We don't really do much in the way of advertising. Most people know about us through word of mouth or because they’ve seen us out on the road. It’s an honest, hardworking environment where we just get on with the day’s tasks. There’s always something to fix or a field to maintain, so we stay busy. The uniform is a big part of our day and we spend time checking it.
