Amar Car

You can find us right at Janta Crossing in Anand. We are directly opposite Hedgevar Bhavan, which is a big landmark everyone knows around here. Amar Car is just a place where we deal with vehicles all day. It’s a busy intersection, so there’s always noise and people passing by. We have cars parked out front and in the back. Some are waiting for parts, others are ready to go. It’s a bit of a dusty spot because of the road, but we try to keep the cars looking okay. The staff here consists of a few guys who grew up around cars. We don't wear suits or anything like that. We usually have grease on our hands or we're looking under a hood. People from all over Anand stop by because they know where we are. It’s easy to find us if you’re coming through the crossing. We don’t have a fancy waiting room with a coffee machine, just a couple of chairs and a fan. We talk to customers about what’s wrong with their ride or what they are looking for next. Sometimes things take longer than we want because parts don't show up on time. That’s just the reality of the business. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and the locals know us by name. It’s a straightforward operation. We show up, work on the cars, and go home to our families after a long day of tinkering at the crossing.
