Decent Gemstone Exports is located right beside Balaji's Mandir. We are near the Rajputwad area in Khambhat. Being so close to the temple is quite nice because you hear the bells ringing throughout the day. It gives the place a calm feeling even when we are very busy. Khambhat is a town known for stones, and we have our small part in that trade. The work we do involves a lot of handling gemstones and getting them ready for export. It can be quite dusty work and your hands are rarely clean by the end of the shift. We are not a big fancy corporation. We are just a local business with people who have lived in Khambhat for most of their lives. The heat here can be really something in the summer, so we just try to keep the air moving and stay focused. Decent Gemstone Exports isn't about being flashy. We just have our workspace beside the mandir and we do our jobs. Rajputwad is a busy neighborhood with a lot of movement. We see our neighbors every day and it feels like a real community. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just look at the stones, do the paperwork, and make sure the exports get where they are going. It is honest work and it keeps us occupied from morning until evening. Sometimes the dust from the stones gets everywhere, but we just clean it up.
