Coastal Agro

Coastal Agro is located in B-4 of the Solai Apartments. It’s right on Mount Poonamallee High Road in Ramapuram. Working out of an apartment building is a bit different, but it suits us. We have turned one of the rooms into a main office and the other is full of bags and samples. It gets a bit crowded when we have a big shipment coming in. The neighbors are mostly used to us by now. We deal with a lot of agricultural products. My boots are usually covered in some kind of dirt from visiting the fields. We don't have a big corporate sign outside. You just have to look for the apartment number. The traffic on the high road is always loud, so we keep the windows shut most of the time. It’s a small operation. Just me and two others helping out with the billing and the sorting. We spend a lot of time talking to farmers and checking the quality of what we buy. It’s honest work. Sometimes the internet goes down and we can’t send emails, so we just go back to using the phone. We don't have a fancy lunchroom, so we just sit at our desks. It's a bit messy with all the papers and catalogs everywhere. We just try to get the work done.
