Anand International School

Anand International School sits right along N.H.N.- 8 in the Mogar area. If you are driving towards Anand, you can’t really miss the turn-off. Being so close to the highway means there is always a bit of a hum from the trucks passing by, but inside the gates, it stays pretty calm. We have a good amount of space for the children to move around. The staff usually gets here early to beat the traffic on the main road. Most of us have been working here for years, so we know the families in the neighborhood well. The classrooms are basic but they do the job. We have desks, chairs, and plenty of chalk. During the rainy season, the ground near the entrance gets a bit muddy, but we put down some stones to help with that. Our days are mostly filled with the sound of kids reciting their lessons or playing outside during the breaks. It’s not a fancy setup, just a regular school where people come to learn. We keep an eye on the gate to make sure the buses get in and out safely because that highway is busy. Most parents like that we are easy to find and right on the way to the city. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles, just the usual books and blackboards. Every afternoon, the kids line up to go home and the place finally goes quiet for a few hours until the next morning.
