Green Garden Dhaba

You can find our dhaba on the GT Road near the petrol pump in Amritsar. We are technically in the Bye Pass area of Dinanagar. Since we are on the main highway, we see all kinds of people, from long-haul truck drivers to families going on vacation. The place is called Green Garden, and we do have a bit of outdoor space where we’ve tried to grow some plants and grass. It gives people a break from looking at the asphalt all day. The seating is a mix of indoor tables and some outdoor spots for when the weather is nice. We don't have air conditioning, just the natural breeze and some big ceiling fans. The kitchen uses a lot of traditional methods, and you can usually smell the smoke from the fire if you are sitting close enough. It is a very casual environment. You don't need to dress up to come here. Most people just walk in, find a spot, and order. We don't have a printed menu that stays the same; it mostly depends on what we have in the pantry. The service is fast because we know people are usually in a hurry to get back on the road. We’ve had the same cook for years, and he knows exactly how to handle the big highway rush. It’s just a plain, reliable stop on the GT Road for anyone who is hungry and driving past Dinanagar.
