Fuel Stop

You can find us over at Fuel Stop in the Alpha Mall, right on the G T Road in Amritsar. Being near such a major road means we see all sorts of people, from travelers who are just passing through to locals who are spending their afternoon at the mall. We started this place because we realized people just needed a spot to sit down and grab something quick without making a big deal out of it. It gets pretty loud around here, especially on the weekends when the mall is packed, but we’ve gotten used to the noise. We keep things pretty straightforward with the menu and the setup because we aren't trying to be a fancy five-star place. The kitchen stays busy from the time the mall opens until we close up at night. Sometimes the G T Road traffic makes it hard for our suppliers to get here on time, but we manage. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the crowds, but it’s what we do. We don't use any shiny brochures or big marketing gimmicks to get people in. Most of the time, someone is just tired from shopping and sees our sign. We just focus on making sure there’s enough food ready and the counters are wiped down. It’s a simple operation, really, just a place to stop and refuel before you get back on the road.
